Irelands first long distance driving route (2,500km), the Wild Atlantic Way runs from the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal all the way to West Cork. The route showcases the best in scenery along the West Coast of Ireland and provides visitors with an unforgettable experience.
However driving this long distance may not be for everyone, if this is the case, visitors undertake just part of the driving route. From West Cork the Wild Atlantic Way segues into the Kingdom of Kerry in a dramatic explosion of isolated islands and jutting peninsulas. Along this winding route from Clonakilty to Kenmare expect culinary treats and plenty of coastal surprises. A peninsular odyssey, this touring route brings you island hopping, whale watching and even teeing off on a golf course peering into the Atlantic.
